Joomla pre loader

Beste mensen,

Ik heb een website die gebouwd is met behulp van joomla. De website werkt perfect maar duurt heel lang voordat deze geladen is. Je krijgt heel lang wit beeld en daarna pas komt de website in. Ik zou graag hier een kleine preloader ervoor willen zodat mensen iets te zien hebben terwijl ze wachten. Maar wanneer ik een pre loader bouw in mijn index.php van mijn website, krijg ik issues met de session. Ik heb al begrepen dat ik niks voor de start van de PHP code kan neerzetten, maar de vraag is hoe kan dan een pre loader bouwen in mijn website?

Mijn vraag is dus simpel weg hoe maak ik een pre loader voor een joomla gebasseerde website zonder dat ik errors krijg??
